Re proposed Cumbernauld event , funding apparently now in place for either Cumbernauld Park or Palacerigg Country Park . Jubilee Woods reportedly dead in the water ( Only ever was a vanity project on the part of a couple of OTR types ) .

Tried the Garmin app but on the screen on my 645 it doesn't appear big enough to be scanned by my phone, which is a shame.
Works on my 645.

You're right that duplicated entries wouldn't process. But that wouldn't stop someone causing some results processing challenges by turning up with duplicated barcodes and getting them scanned on the day as the VV app would just handled them individually.

Interesting, it displayed fine, but the size of the barcode was so small my phone didn't pick it up. But that might have been the flourescent-lit room I tried it in.

Just tried it again, it was scannable but a bit fiddly! Could be due to my camera (the VV app launches the wide angle camera on my phone which works very well "in the wild" generally) which needed the watch a decent distance away from the phone. I'd be reluctant to give that a go in the wild unless I had no option or an alternative readily to hand given that experience today, but it may well work fine in reality.

A few weeks ago I had a scanner who scanned the same position token with two different runner barcodes - I'm not sure it would accept things the other way round (same runner, two positions).
