Too Much Water
It’s my nearest one now so I wonder if it’s so they can begin outside of the summer peak, as I imagine attendance could be much higher when Devon is full of tourists. Although I’ve lived here for 2 weeks so what do I know! The fact that going there has become normalised for the public is probably a factor as well.

I plan on getting a season ticket, and going for a walk there at the weekend to see what it’s like.

Presumably the junior events that are agreed to start up will be quietly making themselves known over the next week or so? What proportion is (are?) opening back up on 11th

According to the parkrun blogs there's 52 starting on the 11th though it doesn't indicate which ones. I don't know how many there are in England but a squint at the event map suggests that 52 may be in the region of about a quarter to a third of them - I'm happy for somebody with knowledge to set me right on this. There's no indication as to what issues have been faced by the others in looking to restart.

1/4 sounds like plenty of landowner permission issues which wouldn't be a big surprise.

Yep larkim, I reckon there will be a few landowners who take the opportunity to quietly drop parkrun under the guise of some sort of covid measure. I am also speculating that HQ thinks this too which is why they are asking teams not to contact landowners directly to try and avoid any conflict developing

Fizz :-)
I’ve seen a post on FB from a juniors team that they are not restarting as they still don’t feel it’s safe.

I don't know for sure as I haven't seen the comms sent to junior events in England, but I'd hazard a guess that they are being told to communicate with their local communities using their social media channels. I'm not sure a master list of open events would be much use to anyone.

A Master List would be useful to anybody planning a special trip to seek out and attend an open event - which is, in the current climate, as good a reason as any for not publishing one.

They need the intersection of compliant landowners and cooperative local organisers, I'm sure some of the latter will also be dubious about it. Though I think the current situation is looking so good that I'm now quite enthusiastic about events starting up. That goes for all mass-start running, I know it's not on the agenda yet but it could be IMO. Maybe for events up to a certain size (yes I realise this is a specific problem for parkrun)
