Masks will only protect you if they are fitted to your face correctly. The best way to stop the spread is to avoid public gatherings small or otheriwse. The official numbers are not telling the whole story and in fact there is probably lots more infected with it and don't know. medium.com

We have very few volunteers for tomorrow and we are likely to cancel because of that.

I'm not sure why the parkrun tokens are such a big issue suddenly. I've never heard of them causing any problems or risk. There must be thousands of things that we share no one has mentioned. To be honest, anyone that handles cash really doesn't need to be worrying about the parkrun tokens.

Mask are a very difficult subject, OH is having her work fit test today in preparation for her stints on the wards that will come her way, including the wards set aside for the virus. You can't use any old mask in any old way, they actually have a counter productive effect. i.e people think they are safe when they are not, and people wear them when they are infectious and spread viruses.

About the things we touch routinely, I would add taps, soap dispensers, money, debit card pin keypads, cashpoints and the overlooked any surface at all given the purported 72 hour life of the virus on surfaces.
