Bucket full of disinfectant maybe? Assuming the lamination is up to a proper dunking.
Parkruns I've been running at I think I usually put the token in a box divided into 10s or 20s. Which seems like a sensible approach, making the sorting a relatively straightforward task.

Ours go into buckets of 50 - they were also all washed last week as they were filthy, so we‘re at least starting from a clean base

We helped sort tokens last week. I thought at the time this must be a great opportunity to catch something unpleasant

Has any guidance come out from HQ? Bit surprised if not

Like most organisations, I doubt there's much parkrun can do to add the collective knowledge beyond good "hand hygiene" and "business as usual".

Even using the app, I have sometimes had to touch the barcodes of runners who are not sufficiently with it after running hard/don’t understand that they may need to flatten out their wristband in order for it to scan. I always have hand sanitiser in my handbag (I have to go to some pretty grubby places with work), so usually use hand sanitiser immediately after finishing scanning, then give my hands a thorough wash as soon as I get back to the cafe (at Cardiff we do have little tubs for the tokens, but the runners tend to give the tokens to the scanners rather than put them in the tub themselves. At Tremorfa the scanners have hi-vis vests with pockets to keep the tokens in).

First time RDing this year and I have been told of a `short' detour necessary, but apparently this is a detour of a detour that I have zero knowledge of, having not been about for months. What could possibly go wrong?

Make sure the architect of the detour is on Pre-Event Set-up and then debriefs you afterwards!

That is exactly the plan - but my "follow the marshals instructions" should be enough

HQ haven't said anything about virus cancellations, Tom Williams said on this week's Marathon Talk they are monitoring the situation and there have been cancellations in high risk areas like Italy and Singapore but that's all.
