Enjoyed Wollaton Hall parkrun today, although the bit that was part of the National XC last week was a trifle slippery.

Interesting conditions at Exmouth today. Full, beautiful rainbow at the beginning of the briefing, by the end of it there was a hail storm. Spent the first 500 metres straight into the hail, then sunny at the end.

I do feel sorry for the RD when conditions are so bad at the briefing, no one wanted to know about future events, they all just wanted to run. Still, it's all character building.

Florence parkrun on the other hand was run in perfect conditions, cool but not cold, no wind (or hail for that matter!!) Very good bunch of people on the team, can recommend it.

Just to reference the elephant in the room , how long will it be before there is an edict from on high cancelling all parkruns due to coronavirus ?

IMHO (having listened to Chris Whitty today) I think cancelation of parkrun due to coronovirus is unlikely other than by indiviual events having to cancel due to insufficient volunteers
