My cousin's local parkrun had 10 runners (and 4 volunteers) today, and is still dark at 9.30...

Charlotte Arter seems to have broken the UK women's parkrun record with 15:50 at Cardiff today according to the footer of the UK page

I wish I’d known Jiggs’s. Friton Lake is my son in law’s parkrun . He’s a Fetchie too so I’d have told him to keep an eye out for you both.

Loved Fritton Lake parkrun! Bumped into a long time but absent Fetchie there, Making Tracks :-)

Finished 30 seconds faster than Tuesday, and got the same finish number.... Which suggests that the 3 highest attendance figure set on our first ever NYD event might be exceeded.

I thought Pippa WOOLVEN was fast at Black Park today (broke her own course record for 16:32) but sub-16 is flying!

Over 800 again today at Edinburgh but didn’t quite exceed Christmas days record. I was on finish tokens and we ran out at 800. The new double funnel couldn’t cope either and the queue was way before the finish line for a while.

We had our second highest attendance, 344. Our largest ever was 368 but that was as a result of a coachload of runners coming along from somewhere (I wasn't there so don't know the background), so this was our highest "normal" attendance.

Nice to hear all these big new year attendances. Record one at Warrington today but that was without me. My excuse is that I'm doing a long run tomorrow morning and would only be nimbling about if I had gone.

I have a FetchEveryone-meets-parkun question for everyone:
what category do you log your parkruns as?

I'm currently setting mine as "Run - Time Trial" as they aren't normal runs but aren't "proper" races (no opening of cans intended). What do other people do?
