I am on a tour of friends and relatives over the next 4 weekends so it will be a derbyshire parkrun next weekend, somewhere near cardiff the following, then Leicestershire the following and finally devon (possibly torbay velopark). I was annoyingly 2 seconds off my best time for 2.5 years today..took my eye of the clock.

Shame.
I've bought a set of the plastic tags and have one well into the lace of my running shoe, so as long as I've got my shoes on I'm guaranteed to have my barcode.

I am careful where I keep my spare barcode now. OH went along with my spare barcode in error. Luckily although I waited for her to finish before we went to the scanner and I was ungentlemanly and got mine scanned first so all was good for my time. Her presentation of my spare barcode was rejected as a result of it being already scanned by me..

As a sometime barcode scanner, my favourite location for a barcode is on a key fob which has been kept clean inside a pocket on the way round. My least favourite, a soggy bit of paper stuffed down a man's shorts *boak* . I've never scanned a shoe
