Got to Swindon... it was wisely cancelled. I ran part of the way to the course and it was like an ice rink.

Today I ran Sandwell Valley for my 2nd time, the course was slightly short, at about 2.5 miles, but that just makes up for it being long last time.

It was my first run, of any description, for two weeks and probably my last before Christmas - so I'm especially thankfull for all the volunteers efforts to ensure that it went ahead while ever other parkrun in a 25 mile radius was canceled.

Oxford and nearby Harcourt Hill both cancelled today due to icy conditions.
My target was to do my my fiftieth parkrun before Christmas (I’m on 48 currently). I just hope that there are no more cancellations before the end of the year so I can now make 50 by the end on the year.

Heartwood forest was lovely in the frost. Few icy patches but brilliantly managed by the team

So glad aberdeen was on, every other parkrun nearby cancelled. Definitely the right decision too, totally runnable!

Bournemouth was a bit slippy underfoot in places but we were warned in the run briefing.

Edinburgh went ahead and my timekeeper duties were not as bad as I feared. I did lose feeling in my trigger finger though !

Sandwell Valley have acknowledged their error - we should have been sent for a third lap of the pool - so they are processing everyone's result at 59:59. Good decision.
