@Metro_Nome maybe the volunteers should have stayed home to enjoy their own celebrations.

@Metro_Nome the phrase the used was "a bit lame" - as ED I am furious at such language used at our RD - who has over 160 volunteer credits in the bank.

He did wish all of the runners a happy St Andrew's Day in the first line of the pre-run brief!

The complainant suggested that we had pipers, donations of Scottish food and prizes for random runners. He at no point offered to arrange any of these.

Oh and a bit like St Andrew himself the RD on the day wasn't Scottish!

Your ambassador would suggest offering complainants a crucifixion on an X shaped cross for theological authenticity.

We were at St Andrews on Saturday but what parkrun lacked the rest of the day made up for . The town was buzzing and the outside live groups, ceilidh and fireworks were amazing.
