Aw that's okay Nessie, I'm a bit like that so hence the name on the teeshirt. I scooted off at the finish as OH was waiting for me to get back so we could get on with our day ;-). I too twisted my ankle and can feel it more & more especially with flat shoes on

You need to come to Elgin when you are feeling fit Nessie. Quicker that Inverness (or the other Highland options) so sub-30 will come more easily. Plus you can say hello to both myself and Old Croc!

Yeah Elgin is a nice one Nessie but come to Aberdeen beach and say hello to a good few fetches and it's a nice run along the prom and also good for a sub 30 attempt (when it's not blowing a hoolie)

I'll defintely get to Elgin in the not-too-distant future, 57. Having done Aviemore and Alness, it would be rude not to vist the other neighbours.
I very rarely hit the bright lights of Aberdeen, but the kids are keen to go back after experiencing Codona's for the first time in the summer - will need to factor in a parkrun next time. We stayed at Portlethen last time, but were planning to be more central next time.

Next week will see the 1.5 million runner mark passed.
The following week, 1000 years run.
By the end of the year, 100 000 events held.
