All happening at York yesterday. Johnny Brownlee's course record (14.43)was finally usurped by Graham Rush (14:37). The guy in 2nd (Gus Cockle) ran 14:52! The course is very exposed and as it was quite a windy one that made it even more impressive.

Johnny Brownlee wasn't really pushing it when he ran. Mr Rush was definitely pushing it, as I've been told that he knocked over a young spectator who was standing off the course on the final bend, which suggests he cut it very, very close, or cut the corner. Impressive time, but that spoilt it for me. :-(

Jovi- just saw that you paced 25 mins- so I did see you even though we didn't meet! :) What a phenomenal parkrun Foutains Abbey is- really, really stunning! I love it, despite the "inclines!" I'd also, really recommend Sleningford Watermill campsite if anyone is looking for a place to stay whilst touristing- exceptional!!

Anyone got an insight into how HQ / Wiggle are progressing through the t-shirt backlog? One of my family is nearly up to 5 months past his milestone (50) and the link hasn't been reactivated for him yet, but I know in the grand scheme of things that's perhaps not that long. Just wondering what sort of timescale he might be looking at.

I just got my 100 t-shirt (having qualified in 2014.) My son hit 50 last summer and is still waiting for the link, so I would think you've got a while to wait still.

Lordy!! I some how naively thought it was mainly 50 shirts and that they'd be getting them sorted in the volumes of thousands per week, not just 700 in a couple of weeks!

Having got 100 coming up for me in the next few months (touch wood) I'll reset my expectations about how soon I can get into a nice black t!

I think the backlog is pretty much cleared up until middle of 2016 now. It has depended on the shirt & size how long people have had to wait - my volunteer shirt was available almost immediately.

We have a lady at our parkrun who told me on Saturday that she has done 170 parkruns and is still waiting for her 100 t shirt!

I know they're free and we shouldn't main but I really can't see what the issue is. Surely they just put in a bigger order?
