Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I did my 100th volunteer at my home parkrun this morning. I was Run Director and forgot to mention it untill I was reminded at the coffee shop when my thank you email arrived.

It is our 7th Anniversary at the end of the month so only works out at 14 volunteers per year (ignoring the COVID shutdown).

Thank you and congratulations @njosmith - please delete the 'only' from your thinking there though. That's substantially more than most and every contribution makes a difference :)

12th anniversary for Delamere today, so my 12th year birthday too. Perfect weather too, blue skies and a little bit of frost on the ground, just how I like it!

I agree with CumbriAndy. RD is a big job, too.

My 100th volunteer at Juniors was the one I cancelled early due to ice, and when I went to greet anyone who might have missed the notification I found that we would have lost the children in the mist if we had gone ahead!
Like you, I didn't realise until I got the email.

Is there a generalised rule for parkrun anniversary dates? i.e. is it normally the Saturday before, the Saturday after or the Saturday closest to the first date?

Got something to say?
