Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

As Anj says you reply to the email and if you're one of the lucky 5 per venue you get a Nike+ sportband to log miles / kms. I've got 4 pairs of compatable shoes so should log a few miles in the month, especially if wear a pair for my 50 mile race.

Cramond Gobi. Flat as a pancake, tarmac and out and back. Should be fun battling the wind :)

Noticed this news snippet on the Gorleston page.

"On 24th October Gorleston Cliffs Park Run is planning a link-up run with the International Climate Action Day "350" project. If we can attract 70 runners to do the 5km distance this totals 350km. NB. 350 ppm CO2 in the atmosphere is considered to be the danger level and we are already at 385ppm. More details are at website 350.org.

The plan would be to start the usual run a tad later than normal at 09.03.50 and for co-director Dave Kelf to run/jog/walk the course for 3.50 hours from then, with others joining in as they wish."

Sounds like a good excuse to do some extra miles ;-)
