I’m in Netherlands for the next two Saturdays and I’ve got plans to do two different parkruns. NL don’t have Xmas day as their special event, so there’s not a 3rd to find for me. Definitely doing Wezenlanden parkrun, which is new, and is only around a mile from OH’s parents’ place. The next nearest one I’ve not done in NL is actually a ‘Z’, but not the one that tourists tend to do. It’s Zuiderpark parkrun, Hoogeveen, which last week had 24 finishers and possibly only one or two UK tourists by the look of it. The one that is popular with UK tourists is Zuiderpark parkrun, Den Haag and last week had 84 finishers, with what looks to be around 30 UK tourists. OH’s parents’ live in Zwolle, but there is no Zwolle park ![]() |

Two folk in our club set up Maxima in the NL. So we are planning to go there at some point.

@OO61 as you can see not only do I not do many, I don't even care to look up different ones in the area and persuade my mate to travel a little :¬) I'm sure due to continuing events and visiting friends I'll get to 100 different ones eventually but as I visit friends I have multiple visits to various parkruns in various different parts of the country and I am ok with that as well. My favourite parkrun fact. I have done Chateau de Pierre de Bresse 4 times which is more times than I have done the Isabel Trail which is 7 miles from my house. |

Gobi, sadly parkrun does affect where we go on holiday, and which friends we tend to visit 🤭. We managed 6 different parkruns in Australia and New Zealand whilst on holiday last year visiting family. We also did Isabel Trail, whilst visiting friends in Nottingham- which gave us an I for the alphabet. I haven't hit 100 events either. I guess it will happen when it happens 🤷

@Ally-C , I did Millom back in the old quagmire days, I believe a path has been put in since, won't quite have the same charm!

I still hold the V60 record for Isabel Trail which I got that day. Another poor chap v60 came to take the record too, and was about 10 secs inside the old record. Unfortunately I finished ahead of him 🤭
