57.5 Degrees of Pain
Everything went well in my RDing stint. Lovely day for volunteering too. Didn't miss the 'fun' of old fashioned results processing at all.

Hoping to have a junior event here soon so it's good to dust down the old RD skills in anticipation.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
Tourism at university of Stirling today. My daddy’s first tourism and 25th parkrun, my 50th different parkrun. Lovely only negative was people walking back down from the finish taking up the whole path so the finishing park runners (going uphill) had to weave round them. May have made a pointed comment as I escorted my dad to the finish.
I does seem a particular problem at U of Stirling.

Glad it went well, Mr Pain.

Stirling - same every week. Well done NomeDad, and to you on your 50th.

I did go to Kirkcaldy, nice park and a good downhill, done twice: the second time to the finish. Café after was the golf club by the park, sat outside with a nice view over the course (although very few runners went. Another two, I think, and a few volunteers.). My mate ordered the small breakfast - and was brought a large one. He declared it probably the best post-parkrun café breakfast he'd had.

I found my favourite parkrun today - Littlehampton Prom. Out and back x 2 on the Prom. Really flat, friendly, fabulous cafe after. My legs were achy from racing hard on Wednesday so I was a few seconds slower than planned but such a fab place to run. Afterwards, the vest came off and into the sea for a swim in my running shorts. Lovely!

Bournemouth parkrun is cancelled this week due to no core team (one of them is getting married and the rest attending). Thinking of doing Salisbury.

I’ll be holidaying just outside Poole from Thursday so will probably go to Upton House this Saturday (and maybe Poole the following week if I can get the use of a bike to get there).
