Weath
I was wondering if anyone has done Trelissick, in Cornwall?

Yep. Lovely run with killer grassed hill in the middle for good measure. I'd probably look at wearing trails this time of year. I did it in March.

Ample parking but the queue for the (single?) pay & display machine was a bit hectic so don't leave arrival too close to the start if you want a relaxed arrival. Toilets and a nice little café at hand as you'd expect at an NT site.

Pre-run brief is held in the courtyard outside the gardens before you're led through them to the start/finish line on the other side of the grounds. Nice descent from the start before levelling off and reaching the field with the aforementioned hill ..... 😉

Well worth doing.

Big_G yes, my friend lives a couple of miles away, I’ve done it quite a few times.

Not much to add Weath hasn’t said.

Not sure what side you are coming from - assume Truro side - from there you could take the car over on the chain ferry (King Harry) and have a look at St Mawes, or some of the little beaches / walks on the Roseland side.

Nice run at Bedford, done it both ways now ✅. Thanks for coming to say hi orbness 👍

I missed saying hello to a Fetchie last weekend at the Bedford half. Making sure I don’t miss out again. Good to meet you!

Thanks Weath and ndellar. We are hoping to go down that way in the campervan for a few days, and that parkrun looks good and is one I’ve not done before :)

My Youngest lives in Falmouth, if he runs at all (which is rare) he tends to go to Penrose but he does say Trelissick is beautiful. We visited the estate on a weekday and enjoyed it very much

Did Frimley parkrun last as a farewell run for my son who is off to uni in Bristol. We took him to his digs on Sunday and then went for a picnic in Eastville park, his local parkrun venue. Shame it's cancelled this week, though he might try his next nearest at Pomprhrey Hill.

I shall be back at Frimley for a friend's 500th, who says he will retire from running after! I think he means he will volunteer a lot more. Though he will get his 500 top and of course that means he will have to do 501 so he can run in the blue top. And then, who knows...

My quads still haven’t forgotten Ashton Court, it’s nearly 10 years since I ran it 😂
