I used them as time trial to get best 5K. From 2008 - 2013. Only since 2017 or 18 have I started actually just turning up for social reasons! :-) G

My two local parkruns have cancelled, apparently afer discussions with their respective parish/local councils. I wonder if there will be a slew of these cancellations announced tomorrow. I have a couple a little further but it means driving, but hey ho.

Crathes 🏰 is cancelled this week, it was going to be anyway as there was supposed to be an event on. They are still not doing public events. Next week on is off too as the half marathon is on. Might head elsewhere instead.

Holyrood was off last week for obvious reasons. A quick look at their web pages and no mention of being off this week.

I'm not sure that the parkrun/ traditional Govanite crossover is that strong at Elder Park. Fast course: it is tbh quite boring, so might as well put the effort in rather than regard the scenery. Mind some rather uneven surfaces.

And I guess the worthies of the ludge may not be up and about at 9.30 after a long Friday night toasting his majesty.
