Sweetie
ooh, I just spotted this thread, how lovely, I feel all nostalgic now....
First: Bushy Park 2007 (I love the fact I have a 4 digit parkrun number even though I have run far fewer over the years than most) Last: Preston Fastest: Bushy Park Slowest / toughest: Queen Elizabeth Most run: Llyn Llech Owain Furthest flung: Possibly Morcame Bay? Home: Brynaman - only started up a few weeks prior to lockdown but rugby legend Shane Williams often turns up (he's so short in real life!!)

Burnage did indeed have a huge puddle about 200m before the stairs, first time I went the announcer (there were no more than 30) laughed and said watch out for the lake.
Afterwards he said told you so.

Memory tells me Burnage had lots of route changes, works on the paths, rugby club, opening and closing of a road. I was 9th first time I went, feb 2013....32 runners.

Another parkrun feature, the stream crossing at Hyde, very tight downhill corner....3 times, long uphill drag finish....3 times!

Fair point Curly, not 6 miles from centre, only 4! A long warm up for a 3.11 mile parkrun! G

A water feature started to appear at Bromley gradually getting bigger each week but as we had no ducks we had to improvise. [IMAGE153013][IMAGE153011]

It was the run back to my hotel chasing the check out time in the snow that nearly killed me off at Portobello. When can Scottish runs align to proper parkrun times? 😂😉
