Happy Eater - I wonder if their demise was in some way caused by their brand logo appearing to feature someone about to stick their fingers down their throat?
I was about to post the very same thing 🤣

My dad used to have dripping on toast. If we came in from playing out saying we were hungry we used to be given a weetabix with butter on, sometimes with jam on as well if my parents were feeling flush.

My mum was always partial to a bit of dripping on toast.
Used to call this 'mucky fat' in much of the West Riding. A sound basis for a cold beef sandwich.

Exactly
Nothing wrong with a slice of fried bread with a fry up either.
My last cholesterol test was normal so I celebrated with a Keebab 😁

There was a lot of dripping on toast in my early years. I turned out normal.

We often had banana and sugar sandwiches - and sometimes without the banana element!
