I can’t wait for my poo stick to arrive! As GimmeMedals said, there’s a family history and I’m getting towards the age where they started getting diagnosed (60s). I’ve asked my GP a few times considering the history but been told I must wait. It’s been 9 years since I last tested when we lived in Belgium - they test from age 50 there (but it’s not a free health service).

At what age should I be expecting a poo stick in the post ? The only time I've ever given a poo sample was for a private health assessment work paid for. Is this an NHS thing or are you lot Bupa types ? |

Every 2 years from age 56, bigleggy unless you’ve already past that age in which case you have to wait until you’re 60.

I'm 57, so in the "over 56 - you can wait until you're 60" tranche.

interesting info DT. I'm a bit disappointed they only need a bit of poo and your not allowed to add extra!
