They do have an anti reflection coating, I think the thing is they’ve got to be able to see your eyes in your photo, no reflection/glare from specs!

So every time I go through an automated passport check, I have to take my glasses off, handle my passport AND manoeuvre my luggage through. More often than not, it doesn't work... And God forbid one day I drop my glasses... I am half blind... And would have to go on hands and knees, nose to the ground...
