My husband has clothes that predate me ( we met in '94) even has shirts with school name tapes in them. And let's not even talk about the C&A jumpers

At least until recently, my XH was still wearing jumpers I knitted for him before we had children. The oldest child is 30.

I have a belt that I remember ordering from that fancy new Next Directory book some time in the mid-90s. Better still, I still fasten it on the same belt-hole.

Plenty of other ancient clothes too, but I can't always accurately date them. T-shirts bought in the US in 2006 and 2008 still in regular use.

I have a t-shirt I bought in 1986 and still wear. My gardening coat was bought in 1985 and looks terrible but is still very cosy! I only recently dumped a pair of walking boots from 1982 after the sole fell off one and repair was deemed uneconomic😳

Not quite in the same league....
I have a lot of gardening shoes, formerly known as running shoes.

In the last five years I've bought some jeans. Hadn't owned jeans since I was at Uni. My kids seem to live in jeans.

I was better dressed when my oldest daughter was a baby than I am now. Austin Reed and Laura Ashley, mostly. By the time I'd had a few children they were in designer labels and I was in old sacks.

My best winter coat came from army surplus in my late teens which makes it well over 30 years ago and it wasn't new then (little used, just one gunshot hole).

Keep having to reschedule my 360 ‘you’re getting old’ medical with work. Asked for a new sample kit in the last call as I’d misplaced the last one. Just got the new kit, thought I know where to put this so I don’t loose it again - guess what was already there 🤦🏻‍♂️ Now I have two poo sticks 🤷‍♂️
