I love coconut in cakes, cookies, bounties, etc but hate the way the bits get stuck in my teeth!

We used to call it dedicated coconut. I do like it in curries and shampoo but don’t eat it much otherwise.
I do like a Bounty bar every now and then. When I was a kid I used to call them Paradise bars (Bounty, the taste of paradise.)

(My mum used to make curriesusing a Homepride Cook-in sauce which included sultanas, and we’d sprinkle dedicates coconut on the top.)

Desecrated/dedicated coconut in the bath sounds messy to me. Although I expect it's good for exfoliating dry skin.
Many shampoos smell good. Pretty well universally they taste foul!
Anyone else remember Vesta packet curries? Pouches of dehydrated crumbly "stuff", which always seemed a bit "rough" even when cooked. Now there's a thing I'd forgotten. (Thankfully!) But they sometimes came with a little packet of very dried coconut, which didn't help the curry in any way.

I loved a Vesta beef curry as a kid. If my parents were going out I'd get to cook myself one for my tea. I thought them the height of sophistication. The chicken chow mein variety was less good.

The Vesta chow mein was great for watching the crispy noodles puff up though - it was like magic

Love "Paradise bars". Since after ten seasons (80 episodes) of Death in Paradise* Mrs P *still* calls it "Paradise Island" or "Death on the Island", perhaps I should call it "Murder on the Bounty"?
