I should watch some Death in Paradise. Midsomer Murders hasn't been so 'good' since Johnny Nettles left.
I wonder if, as you get older, your tolerance levels for rubbish TV get higher, to prepare you for those extra five years in the care home your healthy lifestyle has gifted you?

We like to watch Death in Paradise in the winter. Sunny Caribbean beaches are a very nice thing to fill the room with when it’s blowin a hoolie outside.

Death in Paradise is good “Sunday evening” viewing (even though it’s been on Thursday’s recently), gentle, easy-to-watch tv.

What Angus said!
It's a very gentle programme, considering someone get's murdered each week!
We like our deaths to be entertaining, sanitised and distant, don't we? Ghoulish lot that we are.....

Lets not be pedantic on here, there's a whole thread for that.
I'm not a fan of DIP unless I need an afternoon nap in which case it's go to telly, unless F1 is on.
On the subject of rubbish curry sauce my 80's catering course text book has a generic curry recipe with sultanas and almonds, it's the sort of offering you'd get if you were the awkward one at a Bernie steak house in '89.

Don't knock it. It might not be an authentic curry but it's a tasty dish.
