One of my senior colleagues has a sign saying "Fitter not fatter" as a reminder. By boasting about it in a business forum she's started a flame war about body shape / fat shaming!

Also fatter but probably about the same, fitness-wise.

I'm a bit finner, and a bit fitter. But not enough yet.

Fitter, I think so. Fatter, not if the scales are to be believed. Thinner, not as much as I'd like.

Neither as fit nor as fat as I have been. Nearer on the fatter metric though.
MMM, has your colleague yet replied "Suck it up, fatties. Or rather, don't: that's how you got to that size in the first place."?

less fit and fatter here, retired and no intention of going back to work - but missing real-life real-world contact.

I'm around the same weight and condition, but still going to work so that's not surprising. eL Bee! has lost some weight, possibly from doing lots of physical work that doesn't register as "training".

I have put on weight during lockdown, but that did co-incide with the cessation of VLM training so my mileage is down while my food intake is up and I also lapsed on the alcohol abstention.
I actually eat way too much especially in the evenings which is juts a bad habit

It'll be interesting to see how a somewhat disheveled 55 year old man progresses as a high profile born again health advocate.
Banning all contact between politicians and lobbyists for the bad food industry would be one simple first step.

Dvorak, I suspect if she did there would be an HR issue - it's probably linked to a protected characteristic somehow!
And it's "Mental Health Awareness" week - with a focus on being kind! So I won't suggest it.....
Although I've yet to meet a genuinely fat person who seems to really be okay with their figure, based on admitted very anecdotal conversations about food, exercise and willpower! I count myself in that place, historically, BTW. (20 years ago I was too fat and unfit, now I'm fit but would still like a bit more muscle and less fat, but I'm usually okay with it.)
