The Times today has a piece about how 'having a young mindset helps you live longer'. So despite also qualifying for the over 60s thread, I'll comtinue to hang out with you youngsters

Is it a senior moment when you pre roast a chicken to have the next day get to next day and despite checking chicken for cookedness it turns out to be undercooked! Well the breast was ok so we could eat tonight.
It’s in the slow cooker making a casserole for tomorrow now. Sigh.

That's just getting used to a new pizza oven, geordiesanta. You DO have a new pizza oven, don't you? I'm not imagining that?

57.5 Degrees of Pain
You'll find this thread functions like the aging brain Stander. Sometimes we go on about a topic for way to long, sometimes we get lost in the past. Every so often we lose the thread of a topic and wander off in another direction. Frequently we have a collective nap.
But we seem to survive from year to year.

LOL at McG
That was a long discussion and I think the first time I’ve ever seen church and religion being discussed on this thread. Love the broad range of views and experiences
