Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sushi.
Me too.

Missing the friendship of Tri club sessions. They always push my technique and fitness/pace.

Missing the sheer pleasure and freedom of OW.

I was out in the bike with a friend yesterday and the sea looked so inviting. Sadly she didn’t bring swimming stuff with her or we would have had a dip post-bike.

Our river is in serious flood so today I went over to the office and snuck in a swim in the moody stormy and very cold sea.

I am learning run/swim/run and I have to say I just love it

Now that we moved to cozzies it is even easier to get the kit packing right. And also the tactic of sports bra under cozzie and neoprin socks on with your trainers. I take the cozzie off after and have found that a dry rash vest and then a cheap thin fleece is the perfect layer system and so easy to carry in the float. I go in i my run shoes

Worked a treat today

Still doing gloves of re-dip for about a minute and my body just loves the cold water it seems

I was solo today so I stayed close to shore and only stayed in 9mins

Swam about half hour before high tide too. Learning how to read tides and current is a must for me here

Well done, FRU. 2 Hardy souls were in the washing machine at Lancing this pm. I'm afraid we were huddled with hot chocolate in the rain instead.
