I’m in a bit of a funk this week and not sure why. I think I probably need something to focus on or look forward to. That’s kind of hard right now with restrictions ever changing. I thought this was the right place to mull it over.
ION one of the ladies from the OW swim last week friended me on FB, saw my photo of the empty climbing wall and asked if I fancied climbing together. We are hoping to go next week

Still learning to get the slow jogging right, it’s tough to get right because it requires an almost entire reversal of the usual running mindset. I knew I’d gone too quickly yesterday because I wasn’t grinning all the way around.
ION: I’ve been reading about Rinzai Zen & trying some of the meditation methods from their tradition. I’ll be trying a koan meditation today, which could twist my melon right up 😀

That’s a great idea Fleecy, but it’d be a bit too risky here. None of the lanes have footpaths, so it’s all running on road & the tractors are a bit whizzy at the moment.

Been cycling round in circles strava said this was harder than my normal session (yep noticed that!) and garmin suggested 41 hours recovery 😮 It then said my training was back being productive 🤔 Swim tomorrow
Depending on how legs are I may or may not run at some point
Oh and I did a nod to strength work with a short glute activation session with resistance band

Pretty nice to have climbing plans for next week, hp. Can't do everything at once and it's good to have adaptations, improvisations and alternatives right now.
I dunno, sometimes I think what do I MOST want to do and how can I get closest to that?
