2.5 hours of warrior pose sounds like torture I did a weekend yoga retreat a few years back, and my Portugal trip was nominally a yoga retreat but the sunsets and lie ins coincided too closely for me to have done much yoga. It was good, just not very retreaty, a real retreat is lovely |

I went along to a session at a festival we're at this weekend and managed a shoulder stand having failed miserably to follow Adrienne's instructions earlier in the month. Maybe a sneaky glass of wine earlier helped |

Thanks for the August YWA link, Bintmcskint, I started on it yesterday. Definitely not a flying crow yet, more of a wobbly snail 🤣 and it took a while to suss out that the videos are “recycled” from other collections hence August’s Intuit starts with day 30 of Revolution 🤯

I’m back on it after a week off due to food poisoning. Going to try one of the 🏃♀️ ones today. |

Yes They use their whole back catalogue to find sessions that can be squeezed into that month's theme. It can be confusing when you see "Day 30" I have yet to start the August calendar proper. Still doing daily practice, though, have been doing other sessions from Adriene's subscription site. |

I found it difficult to keep up with today’s - it’s from 6 years ago and I think she talked faster then! I don’t like to move/breath that fast 🥵 Might have to put video on at 75% speed 🤣

I actually did this month's new video this morning, Prenatal Yoga (no, I don't have exciting news :-)) Despite the fact that I am very much not prenatal, I really enjoyed it. A slow, gentle one that would be nice in the evening, too, I think. |

I agree Bint - I did it too and it was just right for me this morning, nice pace. I liked the warrior sequence and realised the benefit of using a block in forward fold!

100% agree. There's been a few times recently where I would usually think I don't need a block but then I try one and it opens up a whole new world Really enjoyed my Warrior Workshop at the weekend. Learnt so much! |
