Not sure about that, Pix. 😉 The week's going to be quieter so hopefully I'll get some focused training in. 🤞

We had chunks of The Aeneid and a poem about Atalanta for Higher Latin. Probably less hard going.

Pliny was pretty whiny, from what I remember.

We also had part of book II of the Aeneid. I memorised all them, because I was young and my memory was still functional. No one tell the examiners.

I can't remember what we had in Latin lessons, I'm pretty sure no families were involved.

Packing done, house tidied. I'll be luck if I get a couple of hours sleep tonight, especially as it's so hot. Just as well I finally switched my duvet earlier.

Hope I don't get lost on my drive in the dark, what with that great big car park being closed at the moment.

We also had Aeneid book 2, obviously same syllabus Mazlin!

For Greek we had the bit of the Odyssey where he hides in a bush and watches the girls and Herodotus going on about crocodiles

Back in flat now after a really good day

The read

The remains of the day read by Steve Pemberton.

Though I think it's the 4th episode may have to read it

I learnt my Latin from botany & medical terminology (mixed with Greek & assorted others), so no grammar at all! I think I have a book with a Roman mouse, or rat.

We had a scorching day in York today.

Can hear thunder now in Leeds.

I am glad I changed the sheets earlier on rather than leaving it until now, which is what I usually do

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
