@halfpint She seems to be a qualified aerobics instructor with an international relations degree. And founded 'Fit for a Princess' bootcamp. Some international leaders and some princesses may be menopausal, so perhaps that's the link.

Hello.

I am on month 4 of Hrt. I have oestrogel, it says 1-2 pumps. I do one pump of that and I feel great for 16 days, then I take the 12 days of 2 tablets of utrogestran as well and each day gets worse, I feel mentally terrible on it. Each month has actually got worse rather than better. It improves when I start the cycle again and stop taking it. I’m on day 8 this time and don’t want to put a single tablet more into my mouth, it always takes a few days of feeling terrible to realise why I’m feeling terrible 🫣 it’s like poison.

It says to take it day 17-28, so 12 days (I don’t bleed, so just going off 28 day cycles)

I can’t get an appointment with my GP for a month.

Does anyone take another type of progesterone. I normally have no depression at all, but I tried the mirena once and insisted they took it out after 3/4 days as it made me loopy, and this is clearly doing the same. I can’t put 4 more doses in my mouth but at the same time I don’t want womb cancer either which I think the progesterone stops happening?!

I start a new job tomorrow and can’t go in feeling like I’ll just cry all day. About nothing 🤷‍♀️

I tried patches and tablets then settled on coil. I felt utterly shit on patches/tablets and much much better with coil. I was told that the coil was better as it direct progesterone where it’s needed rather than in bloodstream affecting other things.
