Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

These last couple of weeks, I've wanted to go out and sleep in the garden at night to cool down.
I'm not blaming my hormones, because VP has been complaining of the same problem, and he's a 22-year-old man.

I'm hoping I'm having a little dip in running and cycling performance due to being perimenopausal and will pick up again once all that nonsense is over and done with.

I'm just wondering when I'm going to hit this point. I had a brief time when I was getting night sweats but they seem to have left me. Periods are getting shorter though...

I'm perimenopausal - getting the hot flushes and my periods are irregular. I don't feel too bad at the moment, unlike a few months ago when it was awful, just wish it would sort itself out properly!

I'm not sure I'm going to know: My periods have always been irregular so have been on the pill forever; have suffered night sweats since a toddler; only ever have uninterrupted sleep if I'm unwell and lucky if I manage 6 hours of sleep a night.....

The main change for me is that I'm a lot warmer than I used to be. Sleeveless tops are my new best friends.

Hope your soon mobile HB

Had hysterectomy at 27, ovaries removed 3 years later due to issues. Went on HRT after that for about 3 years but didn't like it so went cold turkey and have been ever since. I do have the odd night sweat but think that is more to do with what I eat then anything else.
