I don't know. I wasn't aware of the restrictions when I asked last year but just asked to reduce the number of visits I had to make to the surgery for it.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Looks like you got lucky hopefully the restrictions won’t last long.

Does sound like it. Hope that others can get their prescription too.

I didn't get to try the caffeine strip/evorel patch at 05:10 test because I didn't get up for my run. Almost sleepless night, but I can't blame it on hormones, it was bloody work niggling at me. First time in ages I've let that happen. But I went out for my run mid-morning and felt better for it. I'm not quite getting on with the patches. I'm managing to keep them stuck (mostly), but after taking them off I have a red itchy patch of skin that takes a week to go away. Not sure what the long-term effect of a slightly-relocated irritated patch each time is going to be. I'd go back to the gel in a shot if I had the opportunity. |

I think I would find the patches tricky. I have an allergy to Elastoplast that became apparent when I was a teenager. When I broke my hip the sticking plasters they used for holding on the traction weights set it off.

I have to say the current itchy patch from the patch I removed this morning is hardly bothering me because I have a giant horsefly bite on my arm to distract me. Got a raised lump the diameter of a fizzy drink can. 🙁

Thanks Ness. I've just tied an ice pack on it with a buff.

Me too. quimby if you have Aloe Vera - snap some off and use the gel to reduce the itch
