I did think that, ITG. I didn’t generally snack in the evening anyway so it’s been ok for me.

I take mine 1.5-2 hours after eating in the evening and then wait 45 mins before I eat again. (I also like a pre-bed snack). It means eating quite early.

OR eat later, take progesterone just before bed.

I’ve had to cut out the evening snacking because of that, which is probably a good thing. It’s tricky some evenings as I might not eat until gone 9pm if I’ve had a particularly long club run and then I’ll want to go to bed around 10pm as I’m tired from the run! As I usually get up for a wee in the night I sometimes leave taking my Utrogestan until then :)

Useful tips. Thanks, both. I have bookmarked both those comments to help me when I’m away on holiday and my routine changes. We generally eat later in the evening while on holiday and I hadn’t yet worked out a way round it.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I’m thinking of trying out taking it late afternoon before a club run, that’ll mean I have to cut out the afternoon snacks instead 😅

Eating doesn't affect when I take my Utrogestan. Because I don't take them orally.

When I was taking progesterone, I took it at the end of the day and definitely found it helped me sleep.

Had my first mammogram this morning - thank you NHS scotland (not sarcastic, a genuine thank you). The radiographer was superb. Made me feel just fine about the whole process. Weirdly my rather shambolic haircut was more of an issue than surplus flesh, almost had shadow from hair! I was very relieved though that the whole process was as low stress as possible. Just a wait for results now.

Again, the radiographer was reassuring, mentioning that call backs for technical issues are more common for first mammograms.
