I only play Conquersize, and only really do that when I explore somewhere new. I like one complete rest day a week, plus 1 or 2 non-running days - but when I will cross-train in some way. I used to run 5 times a week, but am tending to think that is too much at the moment and 4 would be better.

I used to play WSW and Fetchpoint but packed them in a year or so ago as they dictated my routes too much, when the fun stops, stop ;-)

I also find it hard not to let WSW take control - this was four weeks of not just streaking but also running twice a day on occasions. But you'll be pleased to know that I did nothing today. At least one day off a week from now on.

The fetch games are great, but are probably best for those who need motivation/novelty/distraction to run (or whatever) or for those who are super competitive but don't scratch that itch via races.

The only game I'm signed up for is Conquercise and that's only because I feel I HAVE to own Dalston. Years ago I 'did' thingython but got obsessed with being near the top - because I could - until I realised my actual, important training was suffering.

I probably need to stop logging most of my walking as training. It's mad, I don't NEED to be on any of the training leagues. I shouldn't need that validation!

I know! :-)
'Oh look how many stairs I've climbed! How many consecutive hours of being active!'
I just don't need it .... but I love stats and it's so easy to get sucked into these things. Well, it is for me, Sharkie Weak Willed Summers.

I need to be top five age group UK 2020 60m sprinter NOT top five Fetch Walking League Dec 2019!

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
My rest day so far has consisted of researching a new washing machine, hadn’t planned on that! Going to spend time with Fetch friends later for a games evening :-)

About This Thread

Welcome to what may be the least watched, least contributed to, thread ...ever.

It's for everyone (well, me) that thinks real Rest Days are vital and a grand thing in themselves. And for everyone (well, me) who feels that one day at a time DONE WELL is always better than half arsed for-evers.

There will be RULES of course (my ball, my game)
