Has anyone ever cancelled an inaugural after landing down and seeing a crowd of hundreds?

Don't think so, but inaugurals have been cancelled due to the weather.

It has to be done There was a young man who could run. So he ran to a parkrun for fun An inaugural puddle left them all in a muddle so they cancelled to search for the sun |

From comments made in the briefing at Exmouth this morning, Teignmouth has at last got itself sorted with a core team and will be good to go next month

Teignmouth will be looking for a very soft launch so that we overwhelm the course. It is narrow in places and 2.5 laps. With lots of local parkrunners who currently run at Torbay/Parke/Killerton/Exeter/Exmouth the first few weeks will be busy enough. Will post the official statement here due course...
