LOL! God I have though, even if it sometimes may not appear that way ;)
'Life' comes first, and if things need missing, they get missed for actual priorities (of which exercise is not one!)
But I will always have a love of exercise let's put it that way :) I just don't *need* to do it now, and it's not everything, nor close to everything. I have lots of other 'life' outside of exercise where we all know I once didn't.

I just want to still do too many things- this has definitely not changed ;) One major change I'm finding is my age :p

So the consensus is I am overdoing it? Do I have to accept that even though there's only 4 weights sessions here with everything else this is too much?

I also don't 'race' like a lot of people on this site, or really 'train' because I can't be bothered and am basically now too lazy :o

Gymfreak - I don't think anyone could ever call you lazy.

I used to do 4 weight sessions a week, but alternate upper and lower body and allow 48 hours recovery before doing another session the same type, and eat something to help recovery post session. When I snuck in another session my instructor said I was doing too much and counter productive and sent me home 😊

I'm not doing 4 sessions a week now as recovering from knee injury but hope to resume fairly soon.

Gymfreak, you can make your own protein shakes using non-flavoured protein powder e.g. hemp powder, pea protein or rice protein. These powders are ultra processed in the way that flour is 🤷🏻‍♀️ but don’t contain any additives - just 100% hemp, pea, rice … mix with milk/plant-milk and add cocoa powder and/or “processed” banana or frozen fruit to make a smoothie, no need to add sugar or artificial sweetener. Mix one every morning and consume as a supplement to boost any low protein meals or snacks through the day :-)

Crawled in to my PT session this morning after a restless night.
Bounced out with an unexpected deadlift PB of 6×55kg 💪

... a weights wire for women.

And in case you're wondering about that title, well, I like alliteration and one can be too po-faced about the use of girl/lady/woman.

Here's a strength standards for women thing Duracel found for us
