Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am still ineptly Crossfitting. I find deadlifting really hard for some reason - it feels like a very non-intuitive movement. I think because I've got short legs and quite stretchy hamstrings so it's hard to get into the right position to start with. On the plus side, tonight was the first time I've managed push presses without feeling like I'm going to smack myself in the face on the way up...

Am concentrating more on explosive movement and plyometrics* ATM. So lots of circuits and HIIT sessions. I'll be interested to see where I am when I finally do a normal gym ie weights session.

* they are sort of the same thing but Plyos suggests more jumping.

Thank you 😊 I had five attempts and nailed two of them. It wasn't easy, I get a bit scared of getting under the bar at times. The 35kg felt comfortable so whacked it up to 40kg.....that felt heavy but I managed it so thought what the hell and chucked a couple of 1.25kg's on like you do 😂
I definitely need to work on full clean technique as the jerk part was definitely easier. I'm a happy bunny as my last recorded pb was 34kg

Sharkie you'll be awesome at plyometrics 😊

Well done EB! Throwing anything above my head still scares the crap out of me!

And in case you're wondering about that title, well, I like alliteration and one can be too po-faced about the use of girl/lady/woman.
