A former novice nun and ex-student I know is training for a competition this Sunday. She tells me she is deadlifting 115kg in a set of three reps. Comparing efforts at my gym, this is very impressive indeed for a weightlifter, female or male.

I've just renewed my gym membership, £308.00 for 13 months, unlimited, 6 sites, tons of classes, pools etc. - old codgers price. I only need to average 1 class a week for it to pay for itself. The most I've been doing there for a while now is 2 yoga classes a week. Friend and I were always discussing alternatives but could never come up with anything comparable for the money. It is the council's gyms, by any other name.

It would cost a similar amount for me to sign up to a contract with the Better network, which owns most of the local "council" gyms and pools. Some of the facilities are excellent, but the nearest site is eight miles from home and if I was going to use them I'd already be using them on PAYG.

Did you see Kristen Rhodes??? She just single arm pressed a 170lbDB. It was bloody amazing!
Also, EB, Fraser came out in the jersey, when it should have been Noah. I have a massive soft spot for Noah, he is so sweet.
And I still want to marry Briggs, shame she has a girlfriend.

I'm still loving crossfit Max but it's not loving me so much 😂
Currently glued to YouTube watching finals 😬 OMG what a finisher!
Also love Noah a little bit 😊 he's just such a nice person too
Oh and OMG they were cleaning weights I can't even deadlift!!
