I thought of you today HellsBells Remembering how much you enjoyed the Mary Quant exhibition I wondered if you'd managed to get to the Chanel at the V&A? I know you'd love it. Totally gorgeous - we couldn't believe just how modern and beautiful the clothes made in the 1920s and 30s still are. I knew Chanel was revolutionary (like Quant) and this exhibition brought that home.

I didn’t love it as much as Quant, possibly because Chanel was really crowded and by the time we hit Diva I was shattered as I was at the end of a viral lurgy and kept needing somewhere to sit down. But those suits! I NEED one
