So do you have to share patterns ? Because all my stuff I’ve taken from YouTube. So would I post project and then have to link it to the YouTube link I used ? Or do I just upload my work ?

You can use it however you see fit. If you link the pattern it’s useful to be able to find it again, if you want to remake something in future. But you don’t have to.

I also find it useful to mark hook/needle sizes and make notes about any changes I’ve made, in case I put a project down then come back to it.

That’s a good idea. I can actually see lots of uses from it. Tried to upload pics from my latest project but think I need to do 1 at a time. So will try again later

@Rae I'm probably lucky to never have seen it before the redesign and therefore to have no point of comparison 😅

I have been using it to store notes as well as stalk what yarn people have been using for projects I'm interested in knitting. How do people on here store their knitting notes, are there other apps/sites I don't know about?

It’s quite nice to see how others patterns have turned out with different yarns, or if you have some skeins you don’t know what to do with you can see what others have made.

I used to make detailed project notes on Ravelry but I haven't bothered for a long time. I have to keep it at arm's length otherwise I start poking around other people's destashes or getting mildly irritated by the queen bees.

Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off is a good one
