Some fabulous work on show, well done all!

My gothically-inclined DD2 has requested a small knitted skeleton for Halloween, and even found a pattern for me, so I have dug out the needles and commenced. It's looking very fiddly.

He doesn't know what he's missing, Pix. The socks you made for me are fabulous. I still have them and wear them on winter evenings. Very much appreciated here.

I love that, icemaiden. I think double knitting is fabulous, but if I did it I would spend more time tinking than knitting because of the concentration required.

Tinking does occur here. I mostly spend my time thinking "front, back, front, back .... " Anything with vertical straight lines is easy to check it is OK. This one is a bit of a challenge because the words are readable on both sides so the stitches don't match, so I had to work out a pattern for that bit, but found a bit of software on the web that would do it. Mostly in double knitting the stitches match on both sides.
