Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ooo, nice GM.

I've finished a pair of shortie 'business casual' socks that have been on a slow burn for months.

Clearly I'm into lattice cables at the moment...

I saw this earlier and must make it: ofmarscrochet.com - whether it's my next blanket or the one after that I'm not sure (I have one I wanted to make last year but haven't even started it yet).

I love that blanket! I like the rainbow effect but it would look equally good in a smaller number of colours I think

They are lovely socks, Rae and I really like the blanket, sk - it looks very complicated.
I've had to go through all my bit and pieces to organise them. I've got too many things lined up to start and I'm getting mixed up with what yarn/needles go with what as I'm waiting for internet orders to arrive. I've organised them into those handy organza bags that come with Wool Warehouse orders. So far I've got:
V'raps' cable beanie - waiting for a 3.25mm needle to get started
Nici's cowl - I can start but waiting for the contrasting yarn
My friend has asked me to knit her the "Amanda" hat - I've just ordered the yarn
February's socks - I've got everything but it isn't February yet :)
AtC asked me to make some socks in the Unicorn Massacre - I've got everything I need so I'll start these after starting Nici's cowl.

I've got a notebook now with everything written down so I know what I've ordered and what it's for; what I've got lined up and what yarns and needles I own. That should make things easier going forward.
In my wool stash, I've discovered enough sock wool to knit a pair every month up to October 😳, so it will be a cheaper year of sock knitting than I'd expected :)

Leave gaps in the list for all the things you don't know about yet that will pop up and demand to be cast on urgently 😉
