Nice Uni blanket..but the WIP is inspired. Absolutely beautiful. It’s got a sort of antiquey look to it. I never seen anything quite like it.

Sewing the Velcro is ok...except one side has a stick on backing, which seemed

like a good idea to help with alignment.

But the glue is gunging up my needle all the time 😫
Do I just need to keep wiping the needle?
Goodness knows what it’s doing down in the bobbin section.

Anyone making bunting or similar? I have a selection of fairly well worn running tops I can offer as fabric.

I made several hundred yars of bunting for Sprog's wedding a few years ago. It's been used for multiple purposes since. It was quite fun to do so I'd recommend it to anyone. I also liked the race t chirt quilt that was showcased it here (was it by Fraggle?)

You rang ? 😁 I’ve done band tour tshirts into a quilt, but many have done race event tshirts, and you can send them off somewhere and get them done for you. Have a feeling our fave hippo has done that ??
