My friend, and occasional Fetchie, has designed this pattern:
ravelry.com

I've test knitted it for her and can confirm that it's a lovely pattern! Quite quick to knit up too.

Morning,

I’ve decided to put some of my spare time at work to use and do a little project, not sure what yet, but since the pandemic we’ve been so quiet and we’re not allowed to drill so basically have about 5 hours a shift to dedicate.

At home I’m making advent calendars for my four children and niece and nephew. I will try to make one for myself and partner if I have enough time.

Just re-read this, It sounds contradicting saying I might not have time to complete my advent calendar project seeing as I have a lot of time in work. Firstly I have to be out of sight if I want to make things that are crafty as it isn’t liked by my boss (he only condones reading a book or watching tv!) And secondly I wouldn’t bring my sewing machine in, it’s not very discreet.

Marchbanks, could you knit or crochet...or cross stitch? I started knitting because of commuting time etc. I can do it while chatting to people (if the work isn't too tricky). Loads of youtube videos for learning what to do. So YouTube would be a bit like watching TV...and then you can sit in front of a TV to do it too.

I could knit, I’m terrible for starting a project and not finishing, I have got an unfinished cross stitch from a couple years ago I could try to pick up again.
