What kind of fleece? Polar fleece, cuddle fleece, alpine fleece, teddy fleece? There are lots...which I only found out when I wanted some basic fleece. What are you making with it?

I've added a couple of sites for online fabric. Empress Mills because I got some lovely Lewis & Irene pieces from there (a new brand for me) and their customer service was good; Higgs & Higgs because although it's a relatively small selection I think they have some lovely designs, and Minerva because it's at least good for basics.

I can't comment on fleece I'm afraid; I made some fleece ponchos for daughter about ten years ago but it was just whatever I could get in my local shop. They were cute though, and an easy cover up for a 3 or 4 year old. I sewed a few motifs on them to brighten them up a bit. Ten year on I still have a bag of fleece flowers and hearts for no obvious reason.

Lorraine, I bought a massive polar fleece blanket for £3 from Dunelm. I chopped it up as soon as I got it home & used a bit to line a hat.

Managed to add a nose strip from a disposable mask to my AvoidEveryone mask, can now wear it without my specs steaming up :)
