Chocolate button slates: genius! How much of that is left?

I'm about to start an entrelac tea-cosy. It's my first attempt, and typically I have spent some time reading up on methods. This might be task-avoiding because I'm scared.

The regular "Behind the Seams" tour starts with champagne, lasts about 2 hours and includes lots of crystals and swishy dresses.
