Back in 2019 you’d have needed 7:04 to take gold in my division

I think being as close to , or under, 7 minutes would be a good target to possibly take a medal

Certainly give me something to aim for over the next 12 months anyway.

… looking at the 40 to 44 division in the results. .. my fifth place time back in the day would have got me Bronze this year. ( a curse still be on Norwegian ex Olympians!)

Go for it Jef! I used to find it hard to perform "on the stage" and some of my best rows were training time trials.

It looks like I'll break 100k for the current 'Holiday Challenge' (my chosen charity is Water Aid), I don't think I've managed that for quite a few years.

I looked at the honour board log.concept2.com and the current leader is at 3885000m. Over the 19 days we've had so far that works out at 204km per day, about 13½ hours of rowing every day at a steady 2:00/500m. Is that even believable? Their profile is private so there's now way of seeing.

Well done Jef!

No chance of completing the 100km for the challenge - too much time away and then I was ill - should be back on tomorrow though.
