The joys of being an injured runner eh Muttley!

That looks a bit sore Nellers?
I have hands of leather after 30 years of working outdoors๐Ÿ˜‚

Yes it was a blister that burst a couple of weeks back. None of it is sore these days and blisters are rare.

I tend to get blisters if I'm starting over, but they give way to hard calluses which don't hurt but sometimes need filing down. They're not very pretty but it has been said that the rest of me is no oil painting either :-)

Iโ€™m still here, just about.
Just have lost the enthusiasm for doing stuff.

I have some callouses, but generally on the first knuckle. Little fingers suffer most.

The callouses on your palms are from gripping the handle too tight in a fist, rather than using you hands as a hook. At least this is what the farcebook warriors tell others.

I use my hands as a hook to remind myself to keep a neutral wrist and avoid kicking off my tennis elbow.

First row of the month tonight. I'd had a bit of a twingy back and then a stomach bug. Tonight was the first time I felt confident of being able to row without bother of one sort or another.

30 minutes at r18 and all is well with the world again. I'm back, and I bet you never even noticed I was gone. ;-)
