My eldest, and heโ€™s bigger than me.๐Ÿ˜‰

Yep, itโ€™s getting a bit crowded in the 100km club. Well done CW.

How is the toe doing Muttley?

Iโ€™m just about to get in the shed for a steady state 10k. Lower back is a little bit sore after the last couple of days work so Iโ€™m just going to see how it goes and decide whether I need to do it or not by how it feels. No point turning sore into broken!

Thanks, Nellers. My log's set to miles, so I hadn't noticed I'd hit that particular milestone. I think that's my highest monthly total so far, so it had better start paying off!!

And yes, Muttley, with typical feline lack of empathy, I thought I'd take the opportunity to sneak past you while you're down. :-) Hope you're making a quicker than expected recovery. It's worth giving the strapless look a try when you're feeling up to it. I felt very unstable the first few times I tried but now it's really helping me to think about technique and holding myself in the correct position rather than giving in to momentum.

Iโ€™m with CW on the strapless approach.

(For rowing, not the way I dress.๐Ÿ˜‰)

Got through the day ok this morning with no problems. Glad I did. I think the movement has actually freed things up a bit.

Phew! That's a relief Nellers (about the lower back - I don't feel qualified to comment on the way you dress!). I have a lot of SI joint issues and find that rowing often helps provided I keep the s/r and effort level fairly low when it's grumbling.

Nice metres there Nellers and a good session, you need a padlock on the inside of your shed when you're rowing ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well done for reachng 100k in less than a month CW, I'm sure it'll pay off!

Itโ€™s very rare that I get disturbed but it was for good reason last night so Iโ€™ll let my son off, especially as he could have just lifted me off the rower and carried me indoors if heโ€™d wanted.๐Ÿ˜‰

Just ticked off another steady 10k. Raaaaaar gh!๐Ÿ’ช

Haha I got disturbed last night by the window sales person, I was only 200m in though. Well done meters mate you've logged some good metres during the last couple of weeks!

Thanks Craggy. I've nearly caught you up (on distance, not speed).

Muttley
Ah, the perils of having a sprog who's bigger and stronger than you :-). Gets hard to keep the little blighters in line when they tower over you. But as I have reminded Muttley Jnr many times, youth and exuberance are no match for age and treachery.

And I don't mind CW taking advantage of a cripple, I'd have done the same!

Hurty toe update: one week on and the colours are fading but the swelling is still there. Got a way to go yet.
